By offering a sustainable and cost-effective and time sensitive avenue for creating livable spaces for low-income families.

The Problem Has Always Been…
- Developers build houses to make money, they don’t build and price houses and apartment buildings for low-income families or people earning minimum wage to have a place to live.
- The Federal Government Has Helped Create Low-Income Families by setting a Federal Minimum wage at the same level as the Federal Poverty Level. The Federal Minimum Wage is $7.25/hour. The hourly wage at the poverty level for a household of one is $7.24!
100% Of Our Repurposed Container Homes Are For Low-Income Families.
The modular nature of cargo containers or Repurposed Modular Living Solutions, provides a swift and efficient construction process, significantly reducing both time and labor expenses. And with proper maintenance, they last for 25 to 50 years.
They are waterproof, fire-resistant, termite proof, and when anchored properly, can withstand hurricane and tornado winds up to 200+ mph.
Our goal is to provide 5-10 completed homes every 12 to 16 weeks. This production schedule can be scaled upward to 20 per month.
The problem is so big, if the state of New Mexico could build 300 low-income rental units a month, it would take a minimum of 12 years to fix the current rental shortage of 43,226 units.
Speed is crucial in tackling the urgent demand for housing. Additionally, the abundance of unused shipping containers around the globe offers a readily available resource that can be harnessed for social and eco-good.
Affordability is a cornerstone of our Repurposed Modular Living Homes. The cost of repurposing a container into a habitable dwelling is substantially lower and faster than traditional construction methods. This financial advantage opens the door to homeownership and lower rent for individuals and families facing economic constraints.
Our Repurposed Modular Living Homes boast environmental benefits, aligning with the growing emphasis on sustainable living. Repurposing shipping containers reduces the demand for new construction materials, minimizing the environmental footprint associated with traditional building practices.
The versatility of container architecture allows for diverse designs, catering to various aesthetic preferences and functional needs. From a standalone Studio Apartment, to two bedroom two bath single-family dwellings to multi-unit housing complexes, the adaptability of Repurposed Modular Living Solutions homes contributes to urban revitalization and community development.
Repurposed Modular Living Homes present a compelling solution to the affordable housing crisis by offering a blend of affordability, sustainability, and rapid construction.
As communities grapple with the challenge of providing shelter for all, Repurposed Modular Living Solutions has been the answer all along. It is now emerging as beacons of innovation, reshaping the landscape of affordable housing.

Housing Problem!
March 2024
Dear Reader,
I hope this letter finds you well, and thank you for staying on our website. We are reaching out with excitement and hope, as we embark on a groundbreaking initiative to build two Repurposed Modular Living Solutions Homes to Albuquerque. One is a 40 foot, one bedroom, one bathroom, with washer and dryer hookups. The second is a 20′ stand-alone one bedroom and one bath apartment.
These Showcase Model Homes will serve as a tangible representation of our solution to sustainable, affordable housing.
Our goal of raising an initial $250,000 will allow us to have our builders create two Container Model Homes, and have them on display in Albuquerque, New Mexico, providing donors like you, with the physical and sensory opportunity to tour the homes in person, and experience the impact of your generosity firsthand.
These homes will not only showcase the potential of container-based housing or Repurposed Modular Living Homes, but also serve as an educational tool to raise awareness about how we are addressing the affordable housing crisis.
Your contribution will play a crucial role in making this vision a reality. Your support will fund the construction, interior design, furnishing, and landscaping of these model homes, allowing us to demonstrate the quality, comfort, and innovation that Repurposed Modular Living Solutions offers.
We believe that by bringing donors like you, directly into the experience, we can build a shared understanding of the transformative power of sustainable housing. Your generosity will not only contribute to the construction of these two model homes but also help us advocate for wider adoption of the container-based solution.
To express our gratitude, donors contributing $10,000 or more will have an exclusive opportunity to be the first to receive a personal tour of these Model Homes and see the impact of their support, in person. We will also acknowledge your generosity with prominent recognition on our website and within the model homes themselves, via a plaque, with your name on it. And of course, your donation is tax deductible.

You May Be Wondering Why The Country Hasn’t Embraced This Solution Years Ago?
It’s A Perception Problem!
When people (perhaps, including you) hear or read about shipping containers being converted into homes, our brain generates an image of an unconventional and industrial appearance, which doesn’t usually align with what we think a traditional house should look like.
A New And More Accurate Perception:
Affordability: Container homes are cost-effective when compared to traditional houses, making rent and homeownership more affordable for Low-Income families.
Sustainability: Repurposing shipping containers reduces waste and promotes environmentally friendly construction practices.
We use ‘One-Tripper & High Cube’ containers. Which means they brought one load over from the manufacturer, and were then purchased. High Cube means they are one foot taller than the average 8′ container.
Quick Construction: Container homes can be built faster than traditional houses, reducing construction time and costs.
Energy Efficiency: Like any home, when properly insulated, container homes are energy-efficient, reducing utility costs.
Reduced Maintenance: Containers require minimal maintenance due to their durable steel structure. Designed to travel across seas and oceans, and to withstand the worse weather conditions at sea.
Exterior Appearance: We can cover the exterior of the container home with many different types of siding. Including: vinyl, wood, aluminum, engineered wood and other material.
Insulation: Spray foam is the quickest, easiest, and most efficient way to insulate a shipping container. This insulation material totally covers the corrugated shipping container walls without leaving any gaps. Providing the highest insulation value of R-7 per inch, closed cell spray foam can be applied as thick as needed. Which is higher than the pink insulation boards that traditional homes use.
A Small Space Transformed Into Appealing Designs: Multiple containers can be staggered alongside one another, stacked on top one another or laid out in a pattern to create any size living space required.
Durability: The strength and durability of container structures, debunk concerns about safety and life expectancy. Your shipping container home should last a minimum of 25 years. With proper maintenance can last as long as 50 years or more by rust-proof painting the exterior and adding siding.
Building Code Compliance: All of the container home builds are built and inspected to local building code specifications.
Rust and Corrosion: Shipping containers are designed to be exposed to harsh sea conditions during their life. We use ‘One Trip’ shipping containers. They are manufactured at the factory, loaded with cargo one time and shipped to the states. Many exteriors are painted with a coat of anti-corrosion material.
Ventilation: Adequate ventilation is crucial to prevent issues like mold growth inside any home. Vents and fans are added as needed based on the size.
Off-Grid Options: Container homes can be designed for off-grid living, incorporating renewable energy sources and water-saving systems.
Unlimited Design Flexibility: Hundreds of container home design configurations currently exist for virtually any type of architectural style required.
Site Preparation: Preparing the site for container homes involves the same considerations as a ‘stick built’ house. including leveling, providing proper foundations, and addressing drainage issues.
The Solution: Site-prep is required for any type of building structure.
